Looking for some recommendations on a cheap way to capture the video/audio from my old VHS camera. Looking around on ebay I noticed some rather cheap USB dongles but they support a very low resolution.

Can any one recommend a product in the £15-25 range that will get me somewhere near to 720p (or even more)?

VHS has a resolution of around 330×480 so using a capture card that supports 720p or higher is useless as it will just record the resolution of the
incoming vhs signal which is 330×480. If you got an old tv card that is capable of recording that will probably do but if you want to
spend some money then this is my pick around your budget.

For comparison

VHS = 330×480
720p = 1280×720
