Hi

What would be the best Graphics Card for video editing,I'm looking for something around £100 or less, and i don't do any gaming

Thanks All

;)

Yes that's one reason but I'm also only running the i7 2600k integrated graphics,so I'm looking for a dedicated graphics card that would help with codecs that support GPU-assisted encoding

This is why I asked.... Quick Sync is your 2600K's best friend and it's faster than most if not all the GPUs out there

What software are you using? Not many support QuickSync anyway, but there are some software that uses OpenCL to get the GPU to assist you. There's also Nvidia's CUDA as well, but as I said, it depends on what software you use.

The 6850 is a pretty good call though. A bit over powered since it's for gaming but at that price it's a very good card.

You're lucky, it uses Intel QuickSync!

No need to buy a graphics card then ;).

Thanks for all the help guys,I may as well stick with the i7 integrated graphics if there's no gains to be had,but I must say I do like the look of that 6850
