I have looked at buying a new PC however I thought I would explore the option of upgrading my existing one.
I have a Dell XPS 8500.
Here is the current spec:
i7 2600
12GB Ram
AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Windows 10 Pro
120GB SSD
2tb Hard Drive
I use Adobe Premier Pro CS6 for video editing and I understand, with the correct video card I can take advantage of the CPU.
I suspect the mobo is too old to upgrade the CPU
So I am considering upping the RAM to 24 or 32BG, replacing the graphics card with a Gforce GTX960 (assuming its compatible with Premier Pro) and adding a 250GB SSD Scratch drive. However I not sure of the spec of the PSU
Any thought on this guys?
