Video Editing Rig £900 -£1.2k

Hey,

I am helping a friend build a video and photo editing suite(this will be its only function), it will be using Adobe Creative Suite 6. I don't know much on video editing PCs but I've heard that the more ram the better?
Essential Budget Requirements
-SSD big enough to fit an OS and the creative suite
-OS(win 7)
-keyboard and mouse
and optional items that can be added if within budget are
-3 x 1080p Monitors
-BD-RW

Do not know much about video editing on pc, but I do know adobe programs HORDE ram, and I also know that having SSD's in raid 0 can help speed up rendering immensely because less time waiting on IO access and more writing.

Im not sure how you will be able to afford a pc and 3 monitors for under 1.2k... maybe possible.

I did think trying to fit 3 monitors with in budget but was a tad optimistic lol

you will want a bigger SSD because video editing creates a temp file for rendering and i preume he wants it to do that as fast as pos.
you can get 400gb ssd for about £150 mark now
