video editing software

hi there,

just got back from my hols with 3 hours of video footage that I need to edit, i.e. take out the crap parts and do other things like zoom in and out where I didnt if that possible.

Which software is the best and easiest to use?

I know there are loads but I want something I can pickup fairly quickly.

Any ideas would be appreciated?

I use AVS media which only costs something like 50odd pounds for all of there software. Its a very complete suite that includes everything you could need and more!

http://www.avsmedia.com Everything on there webpage can be purchased for that 50odd pounds and it has yet to fail me and is very user friendly.
