Video editing software?

Not sure if this is the right place ot have posted this.

Just wondering guys, im starting to record my own gaming videos (GW2) and ive got no video editing software, im basically a novice when it comes to this kind of stuff.

I need some video editing software but have no idea which to get, dont mind spending some money but dont wanna spend £100.

As i said im a novice, and need something for entry level, cheers.

For free there is Microsoft Movie Maker:

Adobe Premiere Elements is supposed to be ok and you can try before you buy but it leaves a watermark until you purchase.

PowerDirect Ultra is quite comprehensive and a step up for the novice.

Play around with Movie Maker before you spend any cash.
