Hi all

Note; I hope this is in the right section, if not, dons could you please move it.

Recently trying to edit a fairly large amount of .mov files from a GoPro and although supported Premier Pro seems to be having a hiccup with a few of the files - not being able to 'Conform' with Importer Mpeg 'low level issues'.

I've Google'd and tried suggestions re ticking save cache next to original media when possible and still am receiving this error.

Does anyone here know what the best route to take here would be? I'd like to retain as much quality as possible - I thought about using the GoPro Studio and converting to .mov/.avi but the files are incredibly large (already have ~20gb of .mp4) and trying to keep space use down to a minimum if possible.

Any route you guys would recommend? To be honest I thought the GoPro files would be OK with Premier Pro but it appears not :(.

Hope someone can chip in with some advice!

Like you say GoPro files are supported natively by Premier Pro (they're nothing special) so it's more likely a codec issue. I've worked with thousands of GoPro files and never had to conform/convert and never any issues even with using 4k files in a 1080p project.

It might be worth reinstalling Quicktime as a start.

Hi thanks

I've just tried to reinstall quicktime, yet obtaining the same error.

Out of ~500 files, its roughly 15 of them with the error.

Here is an example of the error I get...

Just trying a 1080p project with 30fps - I've created the sequence from the file as I've read to do so not doing anything fancy. I'm just using it to clip, enter a few pieces of text etc.

Thanks
