Video editors - which GPU?

I wish I got into at least 1070 gtx realms few years back however I didn’t have the money so the best bang per buck at the time was a 970 gtx based on editing Canon C200 4K raw footage.

What are you using for Premiere or other PC based editing software? I know it’d hard to get but stick to GeForce or more Radeon based combos?

Don’t do 3D work but I do game as well causally.
