Does anyone know of a decent video file repair tool? One that's free and not a rip off. Ideally Mac but PC will be fine.

Is it a corrupt file as in it won't open or does it have a glitch/dropout that you want to fix?
If it's a glitch, not really a lot you can do other than cut it out in an editor like Davinci Resolve (free).
If it's corrupt download Mediainfo and open the file with it, then paste the info it gives you here and I'll try and advise.
