1. Sega MegaDrive.

2. Being the most awesome thing to ever grace my eyes and hands.

3. Well it was mortal kombat 1 I played and by god that tune was soo catchy.

4. It gave the game epicness...

5. My opinion on the evolution would be that with the upgrade in sound technology you can do a lot more with in-game music, it's not 8-bit anymore, it's fully blown orchestral set ups mass effect for example has brilliant music in relation to the sci-fi genre.

6. It immerses you in different ways, take a survival horror for example sometimes there is music. Creepy at that too. Get's you involved, even the sound effects of just a beating heart can get yours going to in survival horror. So in-game music "IMMERSION".

7. I think it will get more complicated and more beautiful for when needs be.

8. Would have to be the numerous Final Fantasy 7 tunes that makes burst out into nostalgic tears every time I play that game! Honestly hands down best ost ever. I don't have a favourite though.
