hello i closed my boomerang rentals account after being with them for roughly three years. i noticed a major slow down of dispatched games. being a paying a fee subscription but didn't seem worth it anymore having had to wait as much as ten days for new dispatch.

i tried lovefilm thinking they had large collection of gamesa and movies but been disappointed with them as well. i made all games high priority but they keep sending me movies from the mix instead.


its there anyone else good?
 
i'm having the same problems as you, tried a few around. Unfortunately, boomerang still seems best. It's just the way things are going atm. Lots of demand for these rental services and people tend to keep the games for a long time.
 
I keep a lot of my games for a long time, renting is a really good way of saving money on those games that you don't want to keep forever. Personally as in the other thread I've never had a problem with Boomerang. I guess it depends on what games you're trying to rent though, you can't expect to get big games close to launch straight away. Sure boomerang could buy more copies but I'm sure your rental price would go up if they did so.

Why didn't you create separate lists for movies and games with lovefilm then I have done this and assigned 2 discs to games 1 to movies and they always send it out like that.

Boomerang are prob the best for just games but they can be slow at times thats why its best to have a big list and set it so you have the fast option which should be 24hr turnaround unless your trying to go for new releases all the time.
 
Think im going to sign up for boomerang, anyone want to refer me and get a free month? Although i assume i still get my free 21 days aswel.
 
I would recommend doing what edGfaCTor said. Alternatively, if you're like me, I have a 1 disk at a time membership to lovefilm so, if I want them to send games I just make sure I only have games on my list, because they will, more often than not, preferentially send films since people tend not to keep them as long.

When referred you still get the same trial period, email my trust and I'll pop you of a referral.

Although to be honest I was supposed to have referred someone else and I don't seem to have got a free month from them.
