Getting sky+ soon and wanting to run it through the x1900 and watch it on the TFT. Is it just a case of connecting the box to the card or is it more complicated? Was gonna use a scart to composite cable and run the audio through my hifi and video through PC.

S-video is the best bet. TBH an el-cheapo tv-card for about £20 works a treat with Dscaler. Something like a Packard Bell PB-TV100 (SAA7130) gives an amazing picture.

Have a look on www.avforums.com, it all depends on how much you want to spend. But the one I recommended can be found in a popular highstreet computer store. For the price you won't get a better picture and make sure the chipset is supported by Dscaler. Because you most definitely want to use it, nothing else comes close. I use Sky+ through the s-video on a very demanding 52" DLP HDTV @ 1920i and the image is as good if not better than the RGB scart direct to the TV.

scart to svideo or composite, ati has AVIVO and buying a tv card for video in is an insult to your card.

look it up to see why its soo good. :)
