I am currently not able to afford a new graphics card and before I went out and purchased a DVI > HDMI Connector / Lead I was just wondering if it would be possible to use the GTX260 Graphics Card I have for PC monitor and use the HDMI on my motherboard to output to TV ?

I think I already know the answer is going to be no but it doesnt hurt to ask :)

I got the 3.5mm jack to white and red outputs for my sound system the sound isnt a problem, it just sounds wierd listening through sound system when the centre and front speakers are facing my right ear lol

can you use both HDMI and the coloured jacks at once?

if i read it right he is using dvi-hdmi and outputing sound to a stereo, you could use hdmi and set the sound output to use you onbord or sound card if you wanted.

I am using the sound card Left, Centre and Right outputs on the back to hook up to speakers to desktop speakers or my 5.1 sound system.

I wasnt planning on getting sound from the HDMI the only reason I was asking is because DVI-VGA when it doesnt come out pink does not support full 1080HD and since I cannot afford a graphics card as of yet with a HDMI port the cheapest option now is for a DVI-HDMI lead.

I dont think 3m is going to be long enough and OCUK do not have any that are longer and I would have liked some advice on an alternative from amazon site but dont think you are allowed to link from other sites like that.
