Video Problem.. please help?!

Yo,
I was watching something the other night on WMP and the picture was normal.

Today i was on a site watching streamed video and the picture was so Dark i *** bearly see i though it was just bad feed.

then when i played something on WMP a minute ago it was dark again (just the video) i cant work out what has gone wrong or i need to change. oviously must be video settings but i cant work out what....

Any help this will drive me nuts!

try uninstalling and then rebooting and then reinstalling latest gpu drivers?

I thought about doing that as a last resort, but my drivers do appear to be fine, everything else is in *** colour and gamma, including playing games (infact al just check that) .... but i dnt think it is the drivers i feel the Gamma has just gone on my media player ?? if that makes sense?
