Ok I have a small problem I am trying to solve. Basically we have a flat screen tv downstairs in the house. My pcs are upstairs and powerful enough to play blu ray, one has a blu ray drive. The pc downstairs, and my netbook, are only powerful enough to play basiv video, not even 720p. The tv is next to the downstairs pc, close enough to plug in via video cable.
Is there a way over network that the powerful pc upstairs can do the decoding and it can be played on the tv screen over the lan, via the slow pc?
I need a solution along those lines as the downstairs pc isnt powerful enough to run blu ray if I plug in the blu ray drive, and I am not allowed to move any pcs cept for the netbook!
