video to audio program ?

I have a few videos that I want to listen to on my mp3 player, are there any programs which will turn videos into mp3 files?

If your after stripping the audio from a avi file i use VirtualDub which is free.

yeah, open the file in virtualdub, then choose 'SAVE WAV' which will remove the wav file, then use something like cdex to convert it to mp3

both of these programs are freeware and do the job well
