Video to Snow Patrols Open Your Eyes ??

I love the song but when i saw the video today my eyes nearly popped out of my head, i was watching the C’était un Rendezvous video (Rendezvous for short) by Claude Lelouch.

Is this taken from the original video? the colours look more vibrant and it also looks slightly slower, perhaps they slowed it down to fit with the song ?

Or is it just a remake ?

I love watching it either way just wondered.

Me and my mates were only commenting on this vidoe the other night. We know nothing about it and was wondering how they made it so I look forward to hearing some information

I'm guessing it's just been cleaned up though.
