Wondering if anyone has any advice. I am looking to put together a cheapish video wall using a bunch of 55" LED TVs. I haven't looked into multi monitor (as in more than 2) since Eyefinity was new, and there were a bunch of limitations.

Basically, my question is, can I drive 6 HDMI/DVI screens from a single PCIe card these days and how much of a faff will this be for day to day use?

Commercial video walls are off the table due to cost, I have seen the PiWall project and while this is interesting to the nerd in me, I want a simple solution that Janet from accounts can operate ;)

Matrox graphics cards can output up to 8 screens. They are not suitable for gaming tho. I have kind of a display wall, but I use a 1080p projector.

Set up I would imagine is just arranging the tv's in the windows screen resolution settings. It does mean you would have to display whatever it is in a window mode and stretch it across all the screens, unless martox have an eyfinity type of tech that would make it show as one big screen.
