Video with artist music

Hi

I'm looking for a bit advice, been making few videos from bike rides ect with couple of friends recently and was looking at adding some music to them, now most of songs ect. are protected by copy rights ect. How do I stand with this if I wanted to upload to YouTube and other sites?

They'll be flagged, you won't be able to monetize them and depending on the track might be blocked in some countries or on mobile. That's about it.

Thanks for your reply, I done some reading and seen few video about this matter now, looks like some tracks you can use after checking copy rights but like you said might not be visible in some countries and any money gain from ads ect will go to owner of that track, hmm looks like I need to find someone who makes there own music.

You can't monetise them on Youtube anyway unless you have over 1,000 subscribers.
