VIDEO_TS to mp4

Hey,
Whats the best application to convert a ripped DVD set of VIDEO_TS folders to an .mp4 video file?

I don;t want to use Handbrake.

Also, how can I remove segments of the video?

I said that I didn;t want to use Handbrake as it keeps failing and it also tries to save it as an mkv and I want it as an .mp4

Does it definatley need to be .mp4? Any particular reason you want it in that format?

I've been doing this recently with the hope of being able to stream to my Xbox360. Found a solution, just need to test it tonight.

Any chance you might persevere with Handbrake?

Mine works fine and delivers consistent mp4 (and m4v) files. The beauty of it is that I can queue it up and leave it crunching through lots of files overnight, having set the size etc that I need and/or the sections I want.

The other app I sometimes use is Xilisofts Video Converter Ultimate
