Im a bit of a 'HD' nut and like showing off HD movies/videos to friends and family on the big screen.

Ive got a few HD 'cinematic' trailers of videogames, some rendered and some ingame but just wanted to see if theres any more I can add to the collection, old and new.

Heres what Ive got so far... (they are either 720p or 1080p)

Battlefield 3 Faultline Full Trailer
Dead Island Trailer (the little girl out the window one)
Dead Space 2 Excavations Trailer
Deus Ex HR normal and extended Trailers (Icarus Trailer)
Medal of Honor - Leave a message Trailer
Star Wars The Old Republic Trailer
Skyrim Trailer
Prey 2 Bounty Hunter Trailer

*Edit*
Now got...

Diablo 3 Blackstone Trailer (wow, love it, thanks orderoftheflame)
Aliens Colonial Marines Contact Trailer
Suspension of Disbelief Call of Duty Animation Video (epic)
Mass Effect 3 Take Back Earth Trailer
Unreal Engine Samaritan Ingame Trailer
Bioshock Infinite Trailer

Working on the others now!

Any recommendations?
Console games or PC games not bothered.

Here are a few that I have favourited on YouTube, not sure if you've seen them but will post anyway;

Unreal Engine 3: Official Samaritan Demo:

Star Wars: The Old Republic - Intro Cinematic:

Star Wars: The Old Republic Cinematic Trailer - E3 2010

The thing that annoys me is they can be so difficult to actually DOWNLOAD! Most websites just 'host' the video, its a right chore farting around trying to download the HD source video to the computer. a lot of them are not HD. But, persistence and using 'tricks' in internet explorer to actually get at the file. 'Save Target As' has to be my favourite button ever.

I was having fun with the Diablo 3 trailer just now, it popped up in my History tab as a quicktime movie in its own internet explorer window, from there quicktime lets you save the video to disk.

So, thanks so far chaps and chapettes, any more recommendations? :)

All the Dawn of War ones, they're brilliant.

Valve's Meet the.... series for Team Fortress 2.

Their Portal 2 ones are pretty awesome as well.

www.gametrailers.com. Brilliant site.

Blizzard trailers tend to be the best imo. All the Diablo 3 trailers are fantastic, and starcraft 2 trailers, but even the warcraft/wow trailers are still good.

Also this was good though the game sucked terribly.

Even the original wow trailer still holds up even if it's dated:
The newer ones have better graphics and look a lot more natural but I think this trailer was the best overall.

And while the Diablo 3 later trailers are amazing this original one is incredible. gives me chills. that... voice... the music...

That is a good site for looking up trailers but unfortunately you cant download from it, this is where the sites are a bit misleading, it says at the bottom on the video 'Download' but all that means is they supply you with the videos 'URL' and 'Embed' addresses. These only take you to that page with the video on it, the video is being streamed from somewhere else. Is THAT address you need in order to download the source video. This is what the websites dont give you.

Also, many videos shown on websites (including gametrailers.com) are in Flash (flv) format, whilst still a good video format for websites, its not as good as say Mpeg 4 or Quicktime Mov files. Its these files you want to get hold of. Quicktime .mov files can easily be converted to Mpeg 4 format and used in most things these days - DVD players, PS3's etc. The PS3 is what I use but it can only play a handful of video formats. FLV is not one of them, nor is Quicktime but it likes Mpeg 4 and WMV.

Cheers for website thou! :)

"Download Links: MP4(HD) (80.5MB) Right click & Save As..."

Works fine for me.

Im confused, I dont get that at all, infact when I click on the 'Download' button, nothing happens, it just scrolls the page to the top again. The only links I see are under the video titled 'URL' and 'Embed'.

Where you getting the Download links? Do you have a Gametrailers account?

You have to be logged in to download yes. :)
