Hi Guys,

With T-minus 4 months until the big day I need to find a videographer. This is one part of the wedding where I am willing to spend the money required to have it done right. I have seen stillmotion and am completely blown away but to get those guys here would probably cost more then the sum of the rest of the wedding.

Anyway, looking forward to your replies.

Kind Regards,
Zishan

I don't know of one but I thought I'd add my experience from my wedding.

We originally were going to get a photographer and a videographer (a broadcast camera and cameraman too, working in this industry has its bonuses) but in the end opted to only have a photographer and his assistant and no video.

The only reason was really that neither of us were really that bothered about a video, for us stills were far more important.

In the end our photographer gave us over 1000 images in Jpg and in their original RAW and we couldn't be happier. We had about 150 people at our wedding and there are loads of images of people really enjoying themselves, frozen in time and in perfect focus.

I've not seen stillmotion but I've not seen any videos that I'd ever want to see again. Photos on the other hand both of us will happily look at over and over again.

Of course it depends on the couple. just thought I'd add my bit :)

Best of luck for the big day, don't fret over your speech as any nerves will be gone within a minute of starting.

That's me on the lower right :D

Worked with Andy as well, cracking guy and always looking to try new things etc.

Have you posted this elsewhere?

regarding the above, and speaking as a wedding photographer, I didn't want a videographer at my wedding, but was glad we did as I prefer it over the photos as it really showed the day off :)

Russinatings work is impressive without a doubt but the price to me is astronomical so must continue my serach.

Todge, I cannot agree more but the missus wants the video!!!

Prices are big, but worth it :)

And as I said, I felt the same but found the video was better at the end of the day :)

can't wait to get a DSLR with video capabilities :D

The max I am willing to pay is 2500 but that should include from preperations until around 10pm or I would gladly throw in a room at the hotel if they wanted to stay.
