Ok being a dual screen owner I like to play computer games while watching films on the other screen. This is absolutely fine for 90% of games. But theres the odd one or two games (currently Assassins Creed 2) where going full screen on the game freezes the video on the other screen. Stuff like borderlands, total war, starcraft, all that stuff, they're all fine. But theres just the odd one or two games that freeze the 2nd screen. I'm sure it has to do with the video rendering mode in the game, but I was wondering if anyone know a way to fix it? I've tried multiple video players.

Other than running said game in windowed mode I have never come across a way of resolving this. Sometimes alt+tabbing the game and then bringing it back in will sort it out but not very often.

Yeah I had a game a while back that had the same problem which resolved after half a dozen alt tabs. But this game doesnt run windowed either.

Nah thats what I mean. It has no windowed mode option in graphics, and alt enter doesnt do anything.

No supported mode then for duel display?

Check the hard coded game settings (if they are there - usually found in my documents)

You'll see lots of code for the game settings, there's usually an option in there to make the game run window/full screen .
