Videos to iPhone 3GS

Hello,

I have a iPhone 3GS and have a program called "Movavi Video Converter"

Videos i take on my normal digital camera are not in the format the iPhone/itunes understands ".avi"

I use "Movavi Video Converter" to convert the .avi files to i believe .mp4 then it imports them into itunes ready to sync with the iPhone.

The res it converts the video files to is 480x320 .mp4, is this right for the iPhone 3GS screen ??

Also anyone recommend another way of getting videos on the iPhone ?? or am i doing it the best way already ??

Why not try Handbrake as that has preset profiles for Iphone:-

3GS has a resolution of 480-by-320-pixels.
