Hello everyone,
Would like your opinion on Viessmann boilers? Are they any good in terms of the boiler itself and after sales service? I have been recommended the Vetodense 200W (combi) for my house. I know very little about Viessmann and have not seen it mentioned on any of the threads here.
Thanks.

We had a vitodens 100 fitted several years ago and there isn't a lot I can say about it really. It does its job perfectly well.

As for aftersales - well we did have a problem once but it wasn't the boilers fault. We had a leaking gas valve outside the house (in the meter cupboard) which British Gas (or whoever) replaced. In the process of that they incorrectly set our gas pressure sky high which damaged some internal part of the boiler. The pressure was so high it blew my plumber/CH engineers pressure gauge right off the scale!

Even though it wasn't a fault of the boiler and we'd had it for well over a year at that point, Viessman sent out the replacement parts FOC, so from that one experience I'm very happy with their service.

Yeah they are good. Either these or Worcester are standard go-to high end domestic boiler .

I had a Viessmann Vitodens 100 installed 2.5 years ago and no problems with it since. They say Viessmann are one of the more solid brands with not many breakdowns.
