Ive struggled with getting the setting right on sunsets, think I'm getting it better now

i totally agree with the first one, it really was just a photo for the sake of it.....

I've played around with the second 2, listening to the comments above. how do you think they are now??

The Boat work much better IMO. I can't think of a change I would want to o. The extar shadow detail helps make he leading lines more prominent.

With the second one I would have kept the right hand edge in the frame and remove the left edge. Your original had a silhouette cliff on the RHS that helps the image. I think cutting the left and keeping the right will help a lot.
