viewing files on old backup drive

Hi

We have a external hard drive from our old SBS2011 server which was used for backups via Windows Server Backup.

We now need some old files.

How can I 'mount' the backups on this external drive to extract some files?

I Just connected it to our new server, opened it up in Windows Backup and I could restore files as normal. I didn't realise you could do that with a drive from another server.
