Viewing one thing on 2 screens, windows Vista

I want to have the same thing displaying on 2 seperate screens so that I can swap between them, I had this working perfectly in XP using ultramon but unfortunatly it didnt work in the last version I tried.

Does anyone know how to do it?

Which gpu and version of drivers are you using? In Nvidia control panel, set-up multiple displays, select "clone"

im using an ati radeon x1300 mate.

I was going to suggest ultramon when I saw the title. I know that ATI also have a clone mode.

goto cat AI center

make sure both screens attached, drag the screen to desktop 2 so u should see 2 screens next to each other, now right click the screen on desktop 2 and select clone.

you can exchange/extend do lots of things from here

u just gotta right click on one of the screens (usualy the one on the right) and select clone mode

If its not there then try samething on the 1st screen....

Ultramon Beta works on vista for me.

If you have ATI drives and Ultramon installed, try this:

Display Properties -> Settings -> UNTICK "Extend Monitor on this desktop" and reboot.

Then Display Properties -> Settings -> Advanced Settings (your PRIMARY MONITOR) -> Display tabs and enable clone mode.
