Viewing Trophy Collection is Taking Ages

Anyone else experiencing this since the update?.

If I go into my trophy list I just get the playstation controller icon with the arrows spinning around it for ages. Eventually the game icon comes up but when I scroll down the screen to view other games the loading icon comes up for those games as well. If I immediately scroll back up to where I was it loads up all over again. It only seems to show what is on screen and if I scroll up or down it starts all over again. Very frustrating if you want to view what trophies are left to do as it takes so long. I haven't been bothered to sit there and wait for the entire list to load as it takes just to long.

This is the same if I actually go into the game trophies lists. Killzone 3 for instance takes several minutes to load the trophy list and if I scroll down it does the same thing and starts to load all over again.

Never used to happen before.
 
I believe it's because they've put them all online now, so it has to synch every time you open the trophy list.

Which is a real pain because if I'm playing and a trophy pops up I want to be able to quickly check what it was for, then carry on with my game, not open the trophy list then go and make a cup of tea and a sandwich while I'm waiting for it to finish loading!

not sure about the online thing as I have tried this without internet connection.

I will try the online/offline suggestion tonight.

Turning trophy mode offline works fine for me, it's instant now. Plus with PS+ it auto syncs my trophies every night anyway, so there's no worry.
 
Strange but I only have the option to sync with server when I hit triangle on the icon.

Am I missing something?? Have you got to be signed in to get this option??
