Hi chaps,

Should I be happy with this, I have stopped at 4.6 ghz so far...

Im in a custom loop but GPU and CPU share a XTX rad so its not got loads of overhead...

Anyway

Mem is bumped to 9 9 9 27 2t 2133mhz (from 1600)

CPU was pretty easy to 4.4 (1.2v) 1.25v for 4.5 and 1.32 for 4.6

Im seeing a pretty direct relationship now between more mhz and more volts / heat.

CPU will prime at around 70 - 75 degrees peak.

Is it worth going higher? It feels like a very nippy system, what are safe volts to max out of under water?

Cheers in advance guys

LP

Personally I'd stick at that, you can always see what voltage you need to get 4.7, but you have to think for the extra strain on the CPU would you really notice the 0.1 difference?

I would be very happy with that. As you say, any increase beyond that needs bigger and bigger jumps in voltage which brings even more heat.

Looks good, go for 1T cmd rate on the memory though. What were your timings and voltage at 1600?

If it were 1T at 1600 and 2T at 2133 you may find the speed difference is negligible.

Guys, thanks for the comments,

Re the RAM

Default is

8 8 8 24 1t (I think 1t) V1.5 1600mhz

So im doing

9 9 9 27 2t 1.6v 2133mhz

Agree seems like a lot of effort is going to likely be required from here for not much gain....

Yep, in going to stop.. I used to always try and wrong every last drop but nowadays it does not seem worth it.

Merry Christmas everyone and thanks again for feedback
