Just bought a 19" Viewsonic 1912w as my first step into TFT screens, after seeing an awesome review in a mag, anybody backing up that reccomendation or have i just wasted £230? I am on a slight budget as well mind you.

It gets very good reviews on the Widescreen Gaming Forum. I was going to pick one up myself but decided not to when I found out that I was unable to get it in black.

what do you think about the screen? that is more important than what other people think surely?

My one went wrong after 4 weeks.

I contacted them, and they said they send out refurbished units. But it's new so they don't have any. They said they have no idea how long it will take. I asked wether it will take a week, a month etc. She had no clue.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and she said she didn't have one.

Pathetic. Avoid.
