Viewsonic 22" vs. Acer 22" ?

okay - the viewsonic has a dvi input and costs about 330 quid, whereas you can pick up the acer for about 260, but no dvi, altho does support 1900x???? resolution.

am i missing something or does £70 for a dvi input seem a lot? :confused:

i would obviously like dvi, but what else do i get for the extra £70 if anything

The viewsonic has speakers, DVI and better customer support but apart from that I have heard that they are exactly the same screen. Although it would be worth waiting for a HDCP version which I think will be out soon.

The ideal would be the samsung, which supports HDCP, and price wise sits in between the 2. Shame its been delayed.

no idea, but another site which had "2-5 days" until delivery, has gone back to "1-2 weeks" again.

Are you sure this monitor really exists.

I cant find anything apart from somthing about a similar US model.

Yeah googling shows some 22" Samsung screen but no specs or mention of HDCP and its all from US/Japan....

Dont think it exist either maybe thats why its not in stock

lol, I was thinking along the same lines.

Anyways, thanks Gibbo!!!! Finally you got the awesome Acer montior YAY! I will purchase one before next Thurs! I am so excited now! I can't wait until next week! Finally I can now have a decent sized dual monitors for my downstairs computer at a awesome price!
