Viewsonic Elite XG320U?

No idea... About actual release to sale of any monitor (including Asus PG32UQ) with that AU Optronics panel, whose reponse times are at best mediocre.
There's some talk in Reddit that Asus actually cancelled/put release of PG32UQ on hold to wait for improved panel.

Who knows if Viewsonic is following the suit.
I mean we had first information about XG320U over year ago and since then there's been only Chinese review from was it August.

Appreciate the info - I'm after a monitor around 32-40", possibly Ultra wide, 4k or 1440p minimum,144hz (I have a 2080 Ti).

I've been using our lounge TV as my monitor for the past few years (recently upgraded to the 65" Hisense U8G), so I've been pretty spoiled.
Now we've moved to a much larger house, I have the space for a study/den once again, but I think I'd miss the sheer size and image quality of the Hisense panel.

Displayport & HDMI 2.1 (for when I inevitably replace our consoles) would be nice, as would an usb 3 port or two (no need for USB-C).

An OLED monitor would be perfect, but I doubt The Boss would appreciate me blowing our modest tech budget on the 48" LG CX...

Budget is around the £5-700 region, but could stretch a little further if the value is there.

You won't get a 4k monitor with a 144hz refresh rate for £700, maybe a b grade LG gp950 or Gigabyte M32U.
Apparently the LG 48" OLED had dropped below 1k for the first time which would be a good buy if it's not sat on a desk top 18" from your face.

I really need to brush up on my Chinese
At least they're using standard Arabic numerals.
That makes most measurement results understandable and you can also compare results to known cases like LG 27GP950.

Though you need have fast enough mouse click to pause video with measurement results basically given at automatic fire speed.
