Viewsonic TFT with same spec as Dell 1905FP?

Basically I am replacing my work owned Dell with a Viewsonic having looked at all your setups in another thread. However, in terms of performance, I am totally happy with the Dell, no complaints at all. Therefore which Viewsonic would match the Dell in terms of real world performance? I'm guessing I wont need their best 19" tft to see the same level?

VP930 is the only viewsonic to use the same panel (assuming your Dell is the latest 8 ms version).

check which version of the 1905FP you've been using, you can follow the instructions here to find out. The Samsung 193P used the same 20ms PVA panel as the 1905FP 20ms edition. As Fish99 has said, the Viewsonic VP191B / VP930 uses the same panel as the 8ms edition, but at the end of the day, is comparable anyway to the 20ms in most areas, but is more responsive as well

I have one of these: M190EN03 - AUO 8ms P-MVA...

So I'm looking at a VP930 - they look awesome but expensive, might have to wait a month or two then. Thanks very much for your replies and especially that link Badass. Much appreciated.

plus even if you get the 20ms edition, just give that one back to work if need be and keep the 8ms
