Been looking at geting a TFT to replace my Hyundai ImageQuest 19", are the Viewsonic VA1912W any good for gaming/general Internet browsing. Ant input would be great coz i dont know one end of a TFT to the other.
 
they are ok for gaming and general use. They are based on TN Film panel technology which has it's limitations for all the 19"WS models are anyway. It might be worth looking at the Hyundai N91W or Hanns-D HW191D however as they are more recent models and offer some nice designs and performance
 
Bought one anyway, wasn't expecting much but got it out the box plugged it in installed the drivers set it up and Im well impressed with it. I ran Red Orchestra and had a quick play cant believe why i waited so long the picture is razor sharp, the colours are more vivid and no ghosting.
Compaied with my old Hyundai ImageQuest its a lot clearer and the widescreen is great, and it plays movies a treat. All in all for £129 i am pleased
