Has anyone got the VP2030B? I've hung onto it because me being only one-eyed, my vision can't stretch to 16:9, and the VP2030B is the largest monitor available at 4:3.
When I boot my PC, the monitor sometimes chooses DVI-D mode and other times DVI-A mode. If it selects the former, you see the system POST and everything else no probs. If it selects the letter, the monitor loses signal while the system proceeds to boot up (but "blindfolded" of course). I disregarded it as being a PC issue, but having had the same results using a Geforce 5600, 6800, 7600, 9600 and 9800, the DVI-D/A selection is still intermittent.
Is this a known problem to anyone and was there a fix for it? I can go into the OSD and force the monitor always to use DVI-D, but then I never get to see the POST checks - first thing I see is the Windows desktop. Cheers!
