ViewSonic VP2780-4K 27-inch IPS Reviews - TFT Central and Tom's Hardware

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/viewsonic-vp2780-4k-27-inch-ultra-hd-monitor,4171.html

Looks like a very interesting option and one of the first monitors to have HDMI2.0 as well as Displayport 1.2 for 60hz display.

What do you guys think? One of my first monitors was viewsonic and they were always great for quality and service...nice to see they are still around and putting out good quality product

edit - adding link to excellent TFT central review http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/viewsonic_vp2780-4k.htm

Excellent review, highly recommend having a read and contributing a few quid if it helps you make a better purchase decision.

Thinking I might go with this monitor as it meets all of my requirements, including HDMI 2.0 and good value for money/quality.

Wish OCUK stocked it though...

There are some other reviews available as well, which are more detailed. There's also one on the way from TFT Central which will be a good read I'm sure.

Thanks for the heads up, will have a look now. I've done a few paypal contributions for monitors at TFT central over the years.

Very similar specification wise and much better looking :)

But acer customer service is pretty poor from reading around.

Nice one. Doesn't look like the stand is adjustable on the ACER monitor and it doesn't appear to have any USB ports but I have to admit, the thin bezel look is sexy. Shame it's ACER and only comes with 2 years warranty which for a monitor isn't really good enough for my taste.

If you're a new entrant to the market and trying to make an impact, you should have low prices AND great warranty support. See KIA and Hyundai for example competing with the "quality" brands
