Viewsonic VP930 - Does it come in black?

After owning a VX912, apart from dark colour reproduction/contrast, I have been very pleased with it.
Now I'm looking at buying a new monitor and the Viewsonic VP930 looks good, has a nice slim bezel and has double the contrast levels. However in the UK it only seems to be available in Silver, I'd order the monitor today if I could get it in black, what's going on?!?

yes it does, do a bit of searching there is a silver and a black model

Sorry I should have been more specific, I know it comes in black, however it doesn't appear to be available in the UK, also shown as silver on the UK Viewsonic site.

I bought the VP930 some months back, asked if there was a black version at several stores but none available at that time. I went ahead and bought the silver version and really pleased I did. Don't let the lack of a black bezel put you off, they are a superb monitor.

Viewsonic purposely limit the different range of models and colours that they bring in to Europe. I had this confirmed by an employee when I was trying to get hold of a black VA1912.

most uk sites have it like this for example: Viewsonic VP930 19" THIN EDGE ULTRA-SLIM BEZEL DESIGN TFT 4ms 1000:1 (1280x1024) DVI Monitor - Black & Silver

you could contact them and ask if they have the black one in stock since they mention both black and silver, you never know. the pictures are not always relevant.

I was going to order this but i've realised that OCUK are £70 more expensive than one competitor and £50 more than almost everyone else. I'd usually be willing to pay slightly more to buy OCUK rather than elsewhere as their customer service has been great to me in the past but that's a bit too expensive. Is there any reason why it's so much more? And is there any plans to drop the price?

The reason they list it as "black & silver" is because the majority of the casing is black but the bezel is silver. Yes there is an all black version but it is not available directly in the UK.
