Viewsonic VX1935WM ?

Anybody have any experience with this screen?

I'm getting one as a replacement for my VX922 that has developed a fault, Viewsonic are being really nice and giving me an 'upgrade' but I don't know how much of an upgrade it is, as I've not looked at screens in about a year and a half.

My current screen is a 5:4 screen, so the 16:9 or is it 16:10 (never can remember) will be a cast difference anyway.

Will I notice much in loss of screen hight? my current res is 1280x1024 and the new one will be 1440x900, obviously that seems a fair amount, but realistically I don't know.

Also it has speakers in it, something I've always tried to avoid as it's not something I like, do these tend to be any good?

So nobody knows about this monitor?

I guess I'll have to do some form of review of it then when it arrives. It's meant to be here tomorrow, but the house is empty for the most part of the day, so I may well miss the courier, so won't get it till Monday.

Well it arrived today, and so far so good.

As you can see on the 2nd pic, there is some bleed or something that's a great big arc, not exactly very good, but to be honest, I have a monitor that has DVI and VGA in again, instead of dead DVI and working VGA. Unfortunately my phone camera really doesn't do it justice.

Games appear to look great at 1440*900 so far, and I'm loving the wideness.

If I can be bothered I may run a proper review to be put into the sticky.
