Viewsonic VX2235wm 22" Widescreen - any good?

It's on sale here for £135, which is about the lowest price I've seen anywhere for any 22" widescreen! ... and much lower than the typical £200 street price, so it wins for value (I think), but is it worth buying, or do I need to go further up-market? Not that there's much room for me to go... £150 is my preferred max spend, which really ought to limit me to 19" widescreen, but after several threads on different forums I've been swayed towards 'bigger is better' :)

It's for games, browsing... nothing serious. I've been quite happy with my old Hitachi CML174 17" 16ms screen til recently, I've just sold it. So I'm not too worried about absolute image quality, or a bit of ghosting.

Any opinions welcomed :)

Cheers, that was a good read.. and has put my mind at rest about the screen.

Other users' reviews across t'web suggest a mix of happy and unhappy people, the unhappy ones citing dead pixels, backlight bleed and colour issues. As I'm coming from an 'early' LCD I doubt I'll be too worried about the backlight. Dead pixels are a pot-luck thing - if you get 'em it's the end of the world. However as this is an on-line purchase I've got the Distance Selling regs to fall back on. As for colour, sounds like that's just a calibration issue.

CustomPC have tested it in their current issue. They only gave it 60-odd %, but they reviewed it as priced at £217!

edit: damn it! it's out of stock! and no ETA... does that mean end-of-line and I'm going to be S-O-L?
