Although not offered by overclockers, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of the new Viewsonic VX2370Smh-LED IPS-based budget level 23" screen?

Apart from user reviews on a major internet retailer, I've only found one other which praises it quite highly:

I'm not too worried about response times as I'll primarily be using it for photo editing rather than games. It also offers multiple inputs so I can hook up the PC via the DVI slot, and my D-SLR via HDMI.

I've narrowed my choices down to this model and the iiyama X2377HDS. Both offer the full range of connectivity (with the exception that Viewsonic also has audio out should I wish to use headphones). Apart from this, the only significant difference is that the iiyama has VESA capability but I'm unlikely to want to use the monitor anywhere other than my desk.

As far as I can tell they both provide full user control over colour settings, something I'm not sure the LG IPS234V provides. User feedback would seem to indicate that the iiyama stand is a little flimsy while the Viewsonic stand is sturdier. The only negative comments I've seen with the Viewsonic are to do with the positioning/operation of the touch-sensitive control buttons but that shouldn't be too much of an issue. However, I understand that Viewsonic does have one of the best dead pixel policies, and a newer AH-IPS panel, which is why I'm drawn towards their monitor.

Any views, or alternative suggestions, would be really appreciated.
Thanks.
