This doesn't just seem to be an issue on OcUK but also at other places. The Viewsonic VX922 is cheaper than the VX912 and VX924, despite having a faster response time and better contrast ratios. Can anyone explain this? Is it really a better TFT than the 912 and 924?

I do not own them but in the market, things are usually cheaper (even at "better" specs) for mainly 2 reasons - Overstock and/or competition.

Whatever the reasons it certainly looks a win win situation if you're in the market for one ;)

I have to say I'm really tempted to ditch my crusty old CRT and grab one. A few reviews have been quite favourable on its gaming capabilities (very low latency) but its not really an alrounder tho, and that might explain its pricing (maybe the other models are better in general use?)....the VX922 certainly seems to be aimed squarely at gamers. But of course as the guy above says, it could be just overstocking/competitiveness kicking in...
