Hey,

Just received my Viewsonic VX912b today from the b-grade section :) is £152 a bargain? :D Happy to report no dead pixels that I can find. Anyways, I'm having a little trouble adjusting the brightness and contrast. The options for "Auto Image Adjust", "Contrast/Brightness" and "Manual Image Adjust" are greyed out for some reason and it wont let me innn!
Any ideas people?

that will most likely be because you're using the DVI connection? You need to calibrate brightness and contrast through your graphics card settings instead :)

Now I've got a serious backlight backlight bleeding going on, about an inch at the top and bottom of the screen, seriously considering an RMA. It's a shame really because otherwise this screen is pretty good, although I must say it doesnt cope overly well with quake3 engine games played at a high framerate - noticable ghosting. Back to my CRT! Shipping charges will be horrendous, anyone got any recommendations for a courier?
