VIEWSONIC VX922 or Samsung 940BF?

Hi

Am about to buy a new TFT and have narrowed it down to these two, at the moment I am leaning towards the VIEWSONIC VX922 but I have read some brilliant and bad reviews of it, just wondering what you think?

This article might help you decide. For all intents and purposes the Samsung 940BF = 930BF, just that they supposedly turned up the RTC overdrive application a little. Imo it's a heavy dose of marketing and in real terms they are pretty similar. The overdrive control on the VX922 is better than on the Samsung panels, and this means less white halo-ing, something which some users have complained about on the Samsung models, and also to less noise in movie playback. It's just controlled more evenly on the AU Optronics panel used in the Viewsonic models, and Samsung have had a tough time controlling this "overshoot" in their panels. Anyway, take a read of that link, it should help, but the VX922 would be a better choice imo
