A few months ago, I was also reluctant to move away from my CRT and I play a lot of very fast on-line FPS so was unsure.
I eventually opted for the VX922 - mostly from reading Baddass reviews etc, and I'm am totally happy with it, I would never go back to CRT now
Hope you are as happy as me
It arrived yesterday and i must say you guys are spot on. Thanks BadASS!
Very nice packaging and the finished unit was nice, sleek and sexy.

. Took a few mins to calibrate it but worth spending the time to get a very clear, crisp image that are not only way more vibrant than the crt but the details you notice really brings out life in games. It so clean and crisp that I can't believe that i am playing the same games. hl2, cs and doom3 etc is really now so stunning it practically another visual level.
Exactly what you see in the magazines and adverts.
No dead Pixels and no colour bleeding on the edge or corners, unlike what some owners have mentioned on the net. The viewing angle isn't as wide as the crt but it still a decent viewing radius, enough to be not be concerned about at all. The images are quick to the draw and the delay is hardly noticeable.
For the first time in ages it like playing cs without any fuzzy or blurry images as you can make out detail in the distance now. My game in cs has never been so strong.!
I think it worthwhile mentioning to people that instead of piling so much money into gfx market, every few months it probably way more benefitial imo to get a decent monitor instead. You certainly have something to show for it!!! I now know the error of my ways
Abosolute amazed that my rig can handle 1280 x 1024 without any bother at all. The amazing thing is it seems to perform better at that res than some lower ratios.!!?? where the logic in that??
60hz is giving me excellent fps despite being skeptical at first but as mentioned by BA it more then enough.
Very please and highly recommended. Thanks again Badass...you are the man in my book!! Much appreicated.
