Viewsonic XG3240C (32", 2560x1440, HDR10)

Not much info out on the net on this one, and on paper it seems like a good deal at the price point.
Does anyone here have any experience with it?

Unfortunately not "real" HDR. Uses a standard 300 cd/m2 backlight.

Not even sure it meets HDR 400 requirements, limited color gamut compared to the competition... this appears inferior to the Samsung CHG70, however some assumptions on the web that they share the same panel, but I'm not convinced based on specs:

Also I think 32" is too big, it's more of a "sofa & console distance" rather than at arms reach. I am using 27" 1440p. When I saw the 32" 16:9 they looked far too big.

I'm inclined to agree... this put me off the Samsung 32". I'm currently looking at 35" UW options because they are the same height as a 27" 16:9.

If you do buy 34"/35" then you need to get 3440x1440. 2560x1080 will look a bit lousy PPI.

In my opinion, 1080 is not fit for purpose above 24".
