Trying to setup this up. It's supposed to be dead easy but asfter 3 hours... nothing!

My network is 192.168.0.*
Using the method on page 4 of this pdf. I've tried using both DHCP and manully assigning 192.168.1.10 the laptop's IP address. Both times I can ping my network and broswse the internet but I cannot find the access point anywhere. It does not show up in the router DCHP table bor does it show up when I run an IP scanner on both 192.168.0.* and 192.168.1.* networks.
