There is an Adam Walker who does customer support for plusnet but as you have no idea if its the real one or not obviously don't give out any personal details :S (anything they could use internally like a support ticket ID wouldn't be a problem).


Regarding your problems stick your details into http://usertools.plus.net/exchanges/ and see if there are any capacity issues, etc. (not sure if its updated to include FTTC though or not) BT will sometimes throttle certain traffic on congested exchanges until they've upgraded capacity.

BT is reporting that some of the 20CN virtual paths at this exchange are not operating within BT Wholesale's planning guidance, although they are still operating within the product specification.

At busy times, your ADSL connection may operate at a reduced speed, although not all customers on your exchange may be affected. You should only contact support if there is no current ETA date set.

The ETA fix time is: 14 Feb 14
