Looking to see if anyone has used/bought any Vax/Karcher/Bissell vinyl floor tile cleaner.

vinyl Tiles (Karndean) have been down for a number of years and despite sweeping/hoovering/mopping every so often, they need a proper clean/scrub. Fairly large area, 25sq m or so and don't fancy doing it all by hand.

Steamers/scrubbers etc?

any recommendations?

Vileda Steam Mop - It's not melted anything yet.

I've used them before and feel that all it does is push the dirty around etc - Changing the pads all the time and doesn't seem to get any better....

Not sure about them but it was a Vax cheapish one before I had I think....

Bit of research - ordered - Shark Klik n' Flip Automatic Steam Mop [S6003UK] 3 Settings, 6m Cord, Bordeaux/Steel Grey

Found one in Amazon warehouse - £96 instead of £150. As New - will see what it's like

How did you get on with this and Kardean flooring? Looking for something to clean mine, I hate using a mop/bucket! My Mrs has seen an aircraft powerglide but it's about £200 so this would be much cheaper :)

'Er indoors bought a steamer, despite me explaining something of such low Wattage could never do anything useful, heat output wise. Its output is so feeble the vinyl isn't even touch warm after ages of her uselessly pushing it around the floor. Totally useless gizmo, a passing fad.

There's a reason scrubbing brushes and buckets of hot soapy water were invented, (and for getting married). Get her to embrace them ;)

it's fine for a "quick" clean but doesn't touch the ingrained dirt - I suspect at some point it will be a proper scrub by hand but will take a fair bit of time to do with the size of the floor.

Shark cleans up wooden floors nice
