Hi guys please watch the video and the problem is self explanatory

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTSyZXAlnwE

Vibrations are travelling through the floor, through the rack and into the stylus - Is this a normal thing and am I over thinking it, or is this like the worst thing ever??

(keen eyes will notice a happy hardcore record - this is battered just for testing turntables only!! , There is also a p-mount cartridge in a standard head shell - again just for testing)

Thanks

This is normal, the SL1210 is not a very good turntable despite the following that it gets.

Isonoe feet will solve it. Or cut up some tennis balls.

Club installations tend to have them on massive concrete plinths sat on solid ground with the rest of the DJ booth built around them for this reason.

Ah ok cheers, in what way is not very good? I thought it was one of the best

If I put a record on a go sit on my sofa and not walk around ect will this be a cheaper way of getting around the problem? Or will sound from the speakers (1 meter either side) work its way back in too?
